Work principle

The PSA process is used to separate the gas. The principle of the PSA process is that the impurities in the raw material can be removed by high pressure adsorption under the condition of selective adsorption of adsorbent, these impurities are removed at low pressure and the ADSORBENT is regenerated. The whole operation is carried out at ambient temperature. Under the condition of adsorption equilibrium, when any adsorbent adsorbs the same gas, the higher the gas pressure is, the bigger the adsorption quantity is. On the contrary, the lower the pressure, the smaller the adsorption capacity.

When the air pressure rises, the carbon molecular sieve will absorb a lot of oxygen, carbon dioxide and water. When the pressure drops to normal pressure, the adsorption of oxygen, Carbon Dioxide and water on carbon molecular sieve is very small. Pressure Swing adsorption equipment is mainly composed of a, B adsorption tower with carbon molecular sieve and control system. As the Compressed air (pressure generally 0.65 MPA) passes through tower a from bottom to top, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and water are absorbed by the carbon molecular sieve, while nitrogen passes through and flows from the top of the tower. When the molecular sieve in tower a is saturated, the adsorption process is switched to tower B and the molecular sieve in tower a is regenerated simultaneously. The so-called regeneration is the process of releasing oxygen, Carbon Dioxide and water adsorbed by molecular sieve, which is convenient for the next cycle of adsorption.

Our PSA Nitrogen generating plant, nitrogen purity is ranged 98%-9999% , nitrogen gas yield is 1NM3 / H-2000NM3/Hr, matching with HDDC Type nitrogen-making unit is HDDC Type nitrogen-making unit, nitrogen purity is 9999-99995% , nitrogen yield is 13 / H-2000NM3 / H, nitrogen contains less than 3 parts per million of oxygen.
